Saying Farewell to Our Summer Interns

Today is a bittersweet day as we say “farewell” to our wonderful interns which we have been blessed to have on our team this summer!

Both enrolled at Western Kentucky University, Rozany will be graduating in May of 2024 with a bachelors in architectural science. She then hopes to pursue her masters of architecture at the University of Kentucky, as her goal is to be a LEED certified, licensed architect. “Once I receive my licensure, I hope to design sustainable, eco-friendly structures in developing communities that will create a foundation for the growth of the population and enhance the culture for all to enjoy.”

“My favorite part of my internship at RBS has been working with my colleagues and supervisors who have worked with me to improve my skills and have genuinely cared for my growth and wellbeing. I have learned a lot with them and I am truly blessed to have been a part of such a warm, hardworking, and admirable team.” -Rozany Guzman-Rivera

Mia will graduate from WKU in 2025 with a degree in Interior Design. She hopes to remain in Bowling Green, KY or move to Lexington, KY. “I would be happy practicing both commercial and residential interior design in my future career!”

“My favorite thing about my internship with RBS was being able to see the design process and gaining insight of design components related to architecture. I enjoyed seeing the architecture side of the design process and who I may potentially partner with in the future. I am grateful for the patience and encouragement shown to me by the RBS team.” – Mia Lampert

These two have been such inspiring young woman to work alongside this summer and wish them the very best!
