As the son of Otto Ranney, the firm’s founder, being a great leader and a talented architect is in Mike’s blood. Mike immediately began his career at RBS after graduating from the University of Kentucky with a bachelor’s in architecture in 1982. He values his relationships with his clients, keeping the client’s best interests at hand. Mike believes in creating sustainable, maintainable projects that are cost effective for his clients, especially in the long term. Hiding behind his stack of Specifications, Mike is a laid-back guy who enjoys spending time with his family, reading, traveling, and bonsai.
