Barren County Schools acquired the architectural design services of RBS Design Group for the new Trojan Academy.
This new 54,000 square feet facility houses eighth and ninth grade students, and connects the middle school and the high school. RBS worked with the owner to achieve their goal of creating continuity between the facilities and to ease the student’s academic transition from the middle school to the 8-9 center and eventually to the high school.
This facility created an avenue for students to travel between the different facilities without having to exit the buildings. In addition to this facility, the Barren County Schools campus received a new softball complex, which included a new field, bleachers, restrooms, concession area and press box.
