To meet the needs of a growing student population, Muhlenberg County Schools acquired the architectural design services of RBS Design Group for the design of the new Greenville Elementary School.

This new 67,000 square foot elementary school houses 600 students from kindergarten through 5th grade.

When visitors enter this two-story structure, they enter under the interior dome and color coordinated floor. The floors lead to color specific hallways that help the students to more easily navigate the facility. A new state-of-the-art media center helps to keep the students engaged in the learning process and provides access to multiple resources.

Greenville Elementary features a geothermal heating/cooling system, which helps increase energy efficiency.

This multi-phased construction project was completed in 2005.
