RBS Introduces New Summer Intern

RBS is thrilled to introduce our new Project Intern, Alex Parham, a native of Shelbyville, Kentucky. Alex’s passion for drawing and art, paired with his concentration in the engineering program in high school, sparked his interest in architecture. Alex graduated magna cum laude from the University of Kentucky in May 2021 with a bachelor of arts in architecture. Following graduation, he spent two weeks interning with Oyler Wu Collaborative in Los Angeles.

Alex began his internship with RBS Design Group on June 17th and will be with the firm through July 31st. In August, he will be moving to Cincinnati, OH to begin working toward his masters in architecture at the University of Cincinnati.

Alex assisting Craig Thomas, President at RBS Design Group, with a site visit at the new gymnasium, currently under construction for Cravens Elementary School.

“Working at RBS has been a real educational experience, from learning new programs, to working alongside licensed architects, discovering how projects are developed from beginning to end. I am extremely grateful for this invaluable opportunity,” said Project Intern, Alex Parham.

We are excited to have Alex as part of the RBS team this summer and we look forward to watching him grow and succeed!
