Gaining an interest in architecture early on, Steve interned with RBS Design Group during his senior year of high school in 1997. Afterwards, he attended the University of Kentucky, graduating in 2003 with a bachelor’s in architecture. Throughout college, Steve returned to RBS in Owensboro each summer to gain more experience in the field. After graduating from UK he worked as a carpenter for Prajna Design and Construction in Lexington for two years before permanently moving back to Owensboro and resuming his career with RBS. Since his return, Steve has helped design and oversee the construction of a large variety of buildings and projects of virtually every type. As a problem solver, he enjoys taking on the unique and challenging projects, including historic preservation. He is currently overseeing the construction of the new Daviess County Middle School and has recently passed his final architecture licensing exam to become a licensed Architect.
Aside from work, Steve enjoys spending time with his wife, their 3 dogs, and their nieces and nephews. The artist in Steve also enjoys drawing and selling sketches and other artwork online.
